"Appreciation and Teaching of Children's Picture Books" (兒童繪本的欣賞與教學)

To promote the development of children's literature and foster cross-disciplinary exchange and collaboration, the Hong Kong Association of Children's Literature and Art partnered with the HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE) and the Department of Chinese Linguistics at The Education University of Hong Kong in September 2019 to host a specialized seminar on children's literature. The central theme of the symposium was: "The Appreciation and Teaching of Children's Picture Books."

Following the publication of Selected Essays on Children's Literature earlier that year, the Hong Kong Association of Children's Literature and Art made a dedicated effort to preserve the insightful contributions from this landmark seminar, compiling them into this newly published volume.
