Oxford Reading Tree (ORT) is the masterpiece of a group of children’s language educators. With over 20 years of research and development, the series is published by the prestigious Oxford University Press.  Whole reading scheme is divided into 16 stages, step by step, starting from no word the preschool level books to secondary school, including the verse, stories, fiction, biography, common sense and other text type.   Children read the Oxford Reading Tree, like climbing up the trees, learning a large number of authentic vocabularies, grammar, and the British culture; to establish confidence in learning English, enjoys reading. Detailed and humor illustration of story, not only enhance children’s reading interest, but also help to build the reader’s ability in observation and understanding of the context. The reading level depends on children’s reading ability, what we list is just for reference only.

 

Truck Stories (Stage 1-9) is the core of the reading programme, all about the little boy Kipper, his family, Floppy the dog, and his schoolmates, children always read the stories with intimacy.

Stage 1-4 are the daily stories, in Stage 5, Kipper gets a Magic key and the story begins with the colourful fantasy world.
