Thematic Vocabulary Building Game – Animals (SU08) Set 2 (SU08) introduces the names and features of 36 animals in the four animal groups – reptile, insect, bird, mammal. E.g. reptile – lizard - is cold-blooded; insect – termite - has 3 pairs of jointed legs; bird – parrot - has feathers; mammal – koala - has milk glands to feed babies. 

Instructions for various games are provided. For example:Feature MatchPut the animal cards into a bag and type/feature cards into another. Each player takes a bag. Players take one card out from their bag and lay it on the table together. If the animal card matches the type/feature card, the player who first shouts "bingo pair" wins and lays the pair by the side.  A demonstration on how to play the game can be found in this youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/user/StepUpEnglish?feature=mhee
